  5.    What is it?

  8.    SpaceWar is an outer space shoot-em-up game designed to burn cycles
  9.    (both yours and your computer's).  It is a reconstruction of a program 
  10.    I wrote many years ago as a demo for some hardware that filled a room.
  11.    I decided it might be fun to see how well I could do with it on a 
  12.    modern PC.

  14.    Running SpaceWar
  15.    ----------------

  17.    There is plenty of online help to tell you how to run the program.  It
  18.    does require MMPM and a sound card, and it opens the sound device in 
  19.    exclusive mode, because I couldn't get the device sharing code to work.  
  20.    Maybe next version I'll fix that.

  23.    Installation
  24.    ------------
  25.    There isn't any fancy installation procedure, just drag a program 
  26.    object from the templates folder to wherever you want the SpaceWar 
  27.    program object to live.  Then open the settings notebook and fill 
  28.    in the "Path and File Name" and "Working Directory" fields.
